Dance Urban Kiz in Basel. Urban Kiz is a contemporary dance style that evolved from Kizomba, infused with urban influences like hip-hop and R&B. Unlike traditional Kizomba, which features circular movements, Urban Kiz emphasises linear motion.

This style showcases precise impulses, dynamic stops, isolation movements, and creative musicality, allowing for ample individual expression and intricate footwork.

Despite its more open framework, the strong connection between leader and follower remains at its core. Urban Kiz is the perfect fusion of flow, control, and creativity—ideal for those who want to truly feel the music rather than just hear it.
